QuietRF® Shielding Tape

Key Benefits

  • Tin-plated copper shielding tape designed to reduce transmission of Radio Frequency in RF mitigating enclosures

  • Conductive through the aggressive pressure sensitive acrylic adhesive

  • Meets flame retardant requirements of UL510

  • Allows for fully grounded metal to metal connected joints between QuietRock 530 RF panels

  • Used with QuietSeam RF on field-modified QuietRock 530RF panels

  • Available in 2 widths: 3/4" for joints and 1-3/4" for field modified panels

Product Description : Conductive tape for metal to metal connectivity

QuietRF® Shielding Tape is an electrically conductive tape used to maintain metal to metal connectivity at the joints and when QuietRock® 530RF panels are cut to size in the field.  It is used before joint compound to join the metal edge tape on the QuietRock® 530RF panels. QuietRF Tape is oxidation resistant, static charge draining, and grounding. The shielding tape is part of the QuietRF system used in high security environments such as SCIF rooms and data centers for both radio frequency and sound transmission mitigation. It is available in two widths: 3/4″ for joints and 1-3/4″ for field modified panels.
