Product Description : 5/8-Inch Type X Sound-Reducing Drywall with Mold Resistance

QuietRock® EZ-SNAP® Mold Resistant (ES MR) is a 5/8-inch mold-resistant, sound-reducing Type X drywall panel designed for applications where both sound control and mold resistance are required. Part of the Quiet® family of sound control products, QuietRock ES MR combines high acoustic performance with patented EZ-SNAP® technology for easy score-and-snap installation.

Designed for residential, commercial, and institutional construction, QuietRock ES MR provides the sound-control and installation benefits of QuietRock EZ-SNAP with added mold resistance for mold-sensitive applications. The panel is UL Certified for fire resistance, surface-burning characteristics, and non-combustibility of the gypsum core.
