Advantage Drywall: The Team Approach to Success
Rod Pack, President of Advantage Drywall, grew up in the drywall industry. Following in his father’s footsteps who owned a drywall company, Rod and his wife Dolores started a company of their own in 2006—Advantage Drywall. A small family-owned business, Advantage specializes in drywall installation and finishing as well as metal stud framing for multifamily projects in the North Central Valley of California.
Advantage attributes their success to its complete team, from the laborers cleaning up their projects to the skilled tradespeople installing and finishing the drywall. The estimating and project management team makes sure there are projects in the pipeline and that they’re set up to run smoothly, and the suppliers and manufacturers ensure they have the quality materials needed to complete the work.
“In the past 10 years, the company has seen tremendous growth, yet it has still maintained the small family-owned company values,” says David Kamminga, Advantage’s Estimator who was hired in 2013, for his strong background in commercial and institutional projects.

Advantage focuses on establishing relationships with partner companies and functioning as a team. From the general contractors they work with to the suppliers and manufacturers of the materials, they like to perform as one congruent unit and feel that this is the best approach for getting the projects completed. Their commitment to high quality and performance on their projects is why they choose to partner with PABCO Gypsum.
“By using PABCO products, we’re able to provide a high quality and consistently finished product across all of our projects,” says Kamminga.
