Mold- & Moisture-Resistant Wallboard

PABCO® ABUSE CURB™, PABCO® MOLD CURB® Plus and PABCORE® MOLD CURB® Plus Shaftliner board products are engineered with mold and water resistant chemistry that provides the most enhanced mold- and moisture-resistant protection available in gypsum board products.  The PABCO® MOLD CURB® Plus family of products are composed of a fire-resistant, non-combustible gypsum core that is encased in 100% recycled paper facings which additionally are produced with mold and water-resistant properties.  PABCO® MOLD CURB® Plus products achieve the highest possible score of 10 when tested by third-party microbiological laboratories to ASTM D 3273.  PABCO® MOLD CURB® plus facing papers are distinguishable by the light blue coloration on the front and along the edges. 

The paper facing on the MOLD CURB® Plus products affords a surface suitable for decoration.  Tapered edges provide a recessed area with allows the taping and finishing of joints to create a monolithic wall finish.  The double bevel of the PABCORE® MOLD CURB® Plus Shaftliner board allow for ease of assembly.

PABCO® MOLD CURB® Plus mold- and moisture-resistant wallboard is intended for interior use and may also be used as a base for tile and plastic finish panels in dry areas.  PABCO® MOLD CURB® Plus may be applied in building applications which require direct mechanical attachment  to wood or metal wall and ceiling framing, or may be attached to existing surfaces using fasteners or adhesives. 

PABCO® ABUSE CURB™ mold- and moisture-resistant wallboard is intended for interior use on walls in schools, hospitals, shopping centers where abrasion and indentations from carts and similar moveable hospital equipment cause damage to wall surfaces.
